This tool reduces administration time, increases operational efficiency and reduces security risk. It is very important to note that the IdF solution provides the mechanism to retrieve critical data from the AIX target system required that would meet corporate and regulatory polices.
The IdentityForge (IdF) IBM-AIX Advanced Adapter provides full support for managing AIX Enterprise system accounts. Utilizing the IdF LDAP Gateway, built on JAVA technology along with a LDAPv3 standard protocol interface, will allow any standard LDAPv3 Client or LDAP Identity Management Adapter to seamlessly integrate Linux OS user and group management functionality.
The IdF Advanced Adapter is comprised of a Pioneer provisioning agent and the IdF LDAPv3 Gateway Server. This allows the Advanced Adapter the ability to provide a rich feature set for supporting provisioning and reconciliation.
