The Advanced Adapter Series enables use of any Solaris OS to be used as a managed (TARGET) resource or as an authoritative (TRUSTED) source of user information for your application or Identity Infrastructure.

Component Overview

The IdentityForge (IdF) Solaris Advanced Adapter provides full support for managing Solaris OS Enterprise system accounts. Utilizing the IdF LDAP Gateway, built on JAVA technology along with a LDAPv3 standard protocol interface, will allow any standard LDAPv3 Client or LDAP Identity Management Adapter to seamlessly integrate Solaris OS user and group management functionality.

The IdF Advanced Adapter Series is comprised of a Solaris Pioneer provisioning agent and the IdF LDAPv3 Gateway Server. This allows the Advanced Adapter the ability to provide a rich feature set for supporting provisioning and reconciliation.
