IdF Advanced Adapters | SAP NetWeaver Edition have been tightly integrated with SAP NetWeaver Identity Management. The SAP NetWeaver Edition series of adapters provides SAP NetWeaver Identity Management customers with a “out of the box” solution for ACF2, Top Secret, RACF and i5.

The IdF SAP NetWeaver Edition provides a clean and elegant design allowing the SAP NetWeaver Identity Management to communicate natively using LDAP v.3 and SPML standards to the IdF Gateway. The IdF Gateway transforms these events as native calls to the mainframe seamlessly, thus acting as the native administrator to the mainframe security manager or i5/OS. Likewise, an administration changes made on the mainframe or I5/OS is sent down to IdF Gateway processed and forward to the SAP NetWeaver Identity Management to execute. The transaction is completed in real-time providing quick and efficient updates.

The agents built natively for z/OS provides the flexibility of collecting any or all user or group event changes. This ability to collect the user and group changes provides the needed information for a role manager application or if you choose can be configured for Governance, Reporting, and Compliance applications.
