Access Management

The IdF advanced adapters provide applications with web access control of ACF2, RACF, Top Secret, i5 or other legacy files. The Advanced Adapters in conjunction with the IdF LDAP Gateway allows for authentication, authorization, generation of SAML insertions and the real-time bi-directional access of data. IdF provides pre-integrated solutions for the leading vendors of access management and virtual directory systems (see Vendor Editions) as well as ease of integration through use of standards such as LDAP, DSML and languages such as Java and .NET.

Authentication & Authorization

Identity Forge (IdF) provides the ability for LDAP enabled web applications, distributed applications, identity management systems and directory services to authenticate and authorize mainframe security databases and i5 systems. The IdF solution provides for authorization of group membership, Dataset membership, users and any user attributes.

User Management

The Advanced Adapters for in conjunction with the IdF LDAP Gateway allows for native support for the bi-directional administration of user profiles and credentials. In addition for support for standard user management features the Advanced Adapters allows for the alias management on user creation and deletion.

Password Management

The Advanced Adapters provides bi-directional real-time or polling password synchronization between mainframe security databases or i5/OS and your client or identity infrastructure. The IdF solution enables change password (self service change), resume (reset) password, replace password, detect native password change and synchronizes native password in real-time.

Provisioning

The Advanced Adapters in conjunction with the IdF LDAP Gateway allows for native support for the provisioning of user profiles, credentials, fine grain authorization of data sets, resource profiles and batch jobs. In addition the adapter provides reconciliation services, synchronizes services and password management. The solution provides flexible attribute mapping, attribute data transformation and extension to reach legacy applications.
